Signature Lips: The Spring Mini Haul

This small spring lipstick haul helped fill in the gaps in my collection — adding pinks, berries, and a few fun glossy finishes.

I didn’t go shopping for lipstick because I needed more.

I already have the basics covered.

Three solid red lipsticks that I rotate depending on the season or event. And one beautiful nude that works with almost anything.

But that was the entire collection.

So this spring I decided to round it out a little.

Not with random shades, but with colors that would fill the gaps.

A berry. A pink. Something strawberry themed. And anything else that felt like it belonged in the lineup.

I ended up coming home with seven new lip products, including a free mini, a gloss, and a stain.

Sometimes building a collection isn’t about having more. It’s about having the right options.

The Shades I Picked

NYX Lip IV Gloss Stain – Magenta Mist

This one immediately stood out.

It’s a true berry shade, which is something I didn’t really have yet.

The color is noticeable, but not dramatic.

It’s perfect for days when I’m wearing a natural makeup look and want to add a little color without committing to something bold.

NYX Bridgerton Royal Treasures Lip Kit – Summer Fruit / Rumour Has It

This set was a fun surprise.

The two shades together create a soft glossy petal pink that feels perfect for spring.

It’s fresh, slightly romantic, and easy to wear.

Exactly the kind of shade that works when the weather starts warming up.

Haus Labs Color Fuse Glassy Blush Balm Stick – Glassy Pitaya

This one might be the most versatile product in the haul.

It’s a rich deep pink that works as both a blush and a lipstick.

I love when a product can do double duty.

And the color feels especially perfect for summer — bright enough to feel seasonal but still wearable.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick – Blackberry

This shade feels like the future of my fall and winter makeup.

It’s a deep cool-toned brownish berry.

Not quite as bold as a red, but still rich and dramatic.

It’s the kind of color that works with cozy sweaters and darker seasonal makeup without feeling overdone.

Too Faced Kissing Juicy Tint – Strawberry Frosting

This was my strawberry-themed find.

The color is a hot pink strawberry shade that somehow still looks natural.

It feels playful but intentional at the same time.

Exactly the kind of shade that makes a simple makeup look feel more polished.

Too Faced Kissing Jelly Hydrating Lip Oil Gloss – Strawberry Frosting

This one is a sheer gloss with shine and subtle sparkle.

On its own it’s light and hydrating.

But the real magic happens when it’s layered.

Best Find: The Strawberry Combo

Layering the Strawberry Frosting tint with the Strawberry Frosting gloss creates a sparkling strawberry color that feels perfect for spring and summer.

Bright. Glossy. Slightly playful.

Definitely one of my favorite discoveries from the haul.

My Free Mini: YSL Loveshine – Rosewood Blush

This was the free mini I didn’t expect.

The shade is a nude-pink color that feels very natural.

It adds just enough color and shine to make lips look hydrated and polished.

It’s the kind of lipstick that works on days when you want something effortless.

What Happens Next

This haul helped fill in the gaps in my lipstick collection.

Now I have options that cover:

Soft pinks, bright summer shades, berry tones, and deeper colors for fall

In upcoming Signature Lips posts, I’ll also be sharing: the three red lipsticks I rotate between • how I chose them • how to find your signature lip color • and how to choose the right red lipstick

Because lipstick, like fragrance, can completely change the energy of a look.

Final Thoughts

This wasn’t about buying more lipstick.

It was about building a small collection that actually works for different seasons and moods.

A few thoughtful shades can do more than a drawer full of random ones.

And sometimes the right lipstick is the detail that makes everything else feel intentional.

After snooze. 🌸
